One of the main problems with having so many choices is that you might have to go through a lot of trial and error before you find the right combination of products to solve your skin issues. With the majority of skin care lines, you need to buy a number of products because each one is designed to treat a specific problem. This works well when you only need help in a couple of areas but have normal, healthy skin for the most part.

Expensive vs. Cheap Anti Wrinkle Lotions

Over the years I’ve tried a lot of different types of skin care products… and spent a corresponding amount of money on them too. I’ve gone through stages where I’ve bought cheap drugstore brands as well as expensive big name product lines from department stores (the free samples are definitely a plus for these high-end products). I’ve even been a loyal customer of independent lines that operate out of their own stores. Needless to say, there are A LOT of good products out there.

However, a good anti wrinkle lotion or any other type of skin care product will do little for you if you don’t practice some good habits on your own. Daily habits like cleansing your face and never going to bed with makeup on are critical to keeping your skin clean and young-looking. Using sunscreen to prevent future wrinkles and keeping your skin properly moisturized are also important. And then there’s a whole separate discussion we could have about proper diet and water consumption…

Whatever anti-aging treatment you choose, make sure you use it as directed and on a regular basis. No matter how good the product, if you fail to consistently use it you won’t achieve the results you want. But used properly, I believe there is such a thing as an ideal anti wrinkle lotion or cream.
