One of the most frustrating types of wrinkles is the forehead wrinkle. I remember getting this one wrinkle in particular on my forehead back in my early twenties – at least that’s when I first noticed it. Back then it only showed up when I made certain facial expressions. But over time it has become more pronounced and visible even with no expression at all on my face.
Although forehead wrinkles are common, they often end up ruling our beauty decisions. Take for instance your hair style. When the current trend calls for straight, off the face hair, you might feel more comfortable with bangs – even if they’re hopelessly out of style. Without the wrinkles, it’s easy to just pick whatever style you want. But at the first sign of a wrinkle on the forehead, many women rethink everything in an attempt to hide those tell-tale signs of aging.
Bangs Or No Bangs?
So, how do I wear my hair at just barely 40? Right now I have bangs and they effectively hide those nasty forehead wrinkles (yes, there’s more than 1 now). But, I see myself making some choices in the very near future.
Botox – I would imagine nearly every woman considers Botox injections at some point. After all, they’ve become fairly mainstream and more affordable. However, I don’t see me trying them any time soon – if ever- because I really hate needles and I’m not fond of voluntarily putting toxins in my body either. But, for those who want to do it, I say go for it!
Personally, I’ve been using LifeCell for the past several weeks and am really happy with the results so far. My largest forehead wrinkle is already becoming less visible and smaller lines and wrinkles actually do a disappearing act while you’re wearing the cream due to the silicon dioxide it contains.
With LifeCell’s all-in-one formula, Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 (Argireline) is responsible for the longer term anti wrinkle solutions provided. Many women have turned to this key ingredient to prevent them from needing Botox injections. Any time you can smooth on a cream as opposed to getting poked in the face with a needle, it’s a win in my book.
